Kick-off Meeting in Bordeaux

On April 24th and 25th, 2012 SAM.SSA had its inaugural meeting at the premises of the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Bordeaux, France. CNRS is the coordinator of the project that receives an EU funding budget of roughly 4 million euros and brings together nine partners from seven European Member States.

The kick-off meeting in Bordeaux created the framework for project partners to present their activities in detail and to settle the basis for carrying out the planned work in the upcoming three years of the project's lifetime.

Following the successful launch of the project, the first scientific meeting of the consortium is due to take place in October 2012.
