First Progress Meeting successfully held in Eindhoven, NL

October 22, 2012

During two beautiful autumn days, from October 22 to 23, 2012, the SAMSSA consortium got together for their First Progress Meeting in Eindhoven, the technological heart of the Netherlands. Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) hosted the twenty-seven participants on their downtown campus. Over the course of the two days, the partners presented the work and research they have conducted over the last six months since the project start: four deliverables have been submitted and four milestones achieved, such as selecting sugar alcohols and compiling a list of specifications for the project. Lively discussions about project requirements and challenges shaped the two days. At the end, the scientist agreed on a road map for future tasks, reinforcing their cooperation and mutual commitment to the project. The meeting coincided with the Dutch Design week.
